Women of Midlife: Inspiring Stories and Conversations
Aug 07, 2024Season Wrap-Up
This week's podcast episode is a wrap-up of the season. Every woman I invited agreed to join, and each conversation was a delightful experience. I am deeply appreciative of their time and the honesty and openness they brought to our discussions.
- Nikki Ellis shared insights on exercise and proteins, along with her personal story, which resonated deeply.
- Shelly Horton, our bubbly guest, talked about her favorite and least favorite celebrity interviews and bravely opened up about her struggles with peri-menopause and mental illness.
- Lucy Quik was candid about her drinking journey and her return to the corporate world with a balanced, holistic approach.
- Megan Castran, aka Jewelchic, brought vibrant positivity, talking about rainbows, theatre, her friendship with Olivia Newton-John, and her amazing experiences with Oprah.
- Kimberlie Furness, a dear friend of over 20 years, shared a heartfelt story about her mother’s tragic fall in Spain and the efforts to bring her back to Australia, leaving us both teary-eyed yet inspired by her resilience.
In addition to these interviews, I recorded solo episodes—mini mindful midlife moments, bite-sized insights, and uplifting ideas. The main aim of my podcast is to inspire women to embrace this beautiful stage of life.
